Until this site has been tested a little,I will use a family genealogy which simply allows searches for individuals. To return to this site you will need to use your browser's "BACK" button or close it and return here.
This trial setup uses Progenitor files. I have to decide whether this is the preferred program to use and will make a final decision when I see reaction from users. As it is registered only for trial use it will not perform all family and descendant searches but is restricted to a full search on individuals. This should be enough to allow any user to determine whether we have names of mutual interest, and I can then be contacted by e-mail.
The major link on this page leads to a list of most of the Moore/Kimberley individuals known at February 1999. This consists of about 2500 individual names. Some lines stretch back definitively to the late sixteenth century and a couple express a wild, but not entirely impossible, potential link to Mediaeval times.
Of course we all know that the likelihood of ever proving these lines is remote, if not impossible, but as there is a published possibility they have been included as an interesting challenge and incentive. Even if some remote connection existed the lack of firmness and definition of names in those times, and the attachment of a "name" as a possessive of some overlord, could well mean that the "connection" is not one of blood.
